My name is Megan Jean Rolin and I’m honored you are considering me to help with your big day!
My husband James and I have a blended family of 5 children and three constantly shedding dogs. My three sisters and I were raised by my single mother in a home with very little income so portraits aren’t something that our family has to look back on. In fact, I didn’t get my first point and shoot camera until I had my own children!!! I finally got my first “fancy” DSLR in my 30’s and it took me weeks to unbox it as I was so intimidated, but once I did… I was obsessed!
Those who know me would say I’m fairly laid back and always down for adventure… even if I’m a huge klutz!
I have been a preschool teacher and gravitate towards friendly children pretty easily. As far as hobbies outside of photography I am a weight lifter who idolizes strong females, a DIY chick rebuilding an old house, and an avid hiker and kayaker. James and I run a business together outside of photography and he also assists with my weddings as a second shooter and videographer through Rolin Wild Media. Exploring the Pacific Northwest in a pair of boots has become a new passion. Someday I hope to trade in my boots for bare feet aboard a sailboat and see the entire world.
